I have a strong passion for information security and cybersecurity and am highly focused on ethical hacking and network defense. Throughout my personal life and academic and professional careers, I am constantly striving to deepen my understanding of the latest technologies and best practices for protecting them.My interest in information security was sparked many years ago when my credit card number was stolen from an online vendor. After this, I wanted to actively prevent such attacks and protect others from the damaging consequences of cybercrime. I have built a strong foundation in computer science and network engineering. I always seek challenges and opportunities to learn new ethical hacking, penetration testing, and network defense skills. Whether it's conducting vulnerability assessments, identifying security risks, or developing strategies to mitigate potential threats, I am fully committed to the task at hand.Spending time outdoors fishing and kayaking allows me to disconnect from the digital world and immerse myself in nature. These activities help me maintain a healthy work-life balance, and I find that they help clear my mind and give me a renewed sense of focus. As an auto enthusiast, I enjoy working on cars and developing my mechanical skills. This hobby allows me to apply my problem-solving skills in a new context and provides me a sense of satisfaction from seeing a project through to completion. Most of all, I enjoy long walks on the beach with my wife, which are a cherished opportunity for us to spend time together. At my core, I am a problem solver driven by a desire to protect and defend. As a Navy Veteran and former law enforcement supervisor, I have developed a strong sense of discipline, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence that I bring to my work in information security. I believe that by staying informed and maintaining my passion for learning, I can continue to make a meaningful impact in the fight against cybercrime and one day make the online world a safer place for everyone.Thank you for visiting my website and taking a few minutes to learn a little about me.
